What is sugaring?Sugaring is an all natural hair removal service using natural ingredients sugar, lemon & water. Sugaring VS WaxingSugaring is 100% organic (even edible), causing no skin irritation! Our paste is made of only 3 ingredients; sugar, lemon & water. No harsh chemicals or added fragrances! Sugaring is great for sensitive skin & is more sanitary than waxing as there is no double dipping. Waxing is made of resins & often chemicals, these ingredients can cause irritation to the skin. Our sugar paste is applied at body temperature or slightly warm and will NEVER burn the skin. Hot wax must be heated on high temperatures which can cause burning and sometimes may lead to scarring. Our Sugar paste is water soluble which makes it easy to clean! As wax contains resins, chemical solvents are used to remove any of the residue.

How long should my hair be prior to treatment / should I trim?Sugaring can be done with as little as 1/4 of an inch of hair however having your hair 1/8th of an inch long will be less painful & lead to better results. If you schedule every 3 to 4 weeks, there is no need to trim the hair prior to appointment. If it has been longer than 5 weeks & the hair is longer than 1/2 inch, we will TRIM FOR YOU! Please avoid trimming, let us do the work!

I'm noticing tiny red spots after my appointment, what is this?If you are experiencing red dots this is completely normal and will go away within a few hours but may last up to 48 hours. This indicates that we've removed the hair from the root. If you are feeling a little sensitive, you can apply a cold press to the area to alleviate any sensitivity.

Can I Sugar when taking Accutane? No - We do not recomment to sugar when taking accutane. This medication causes severe drying and thinning of the skin. There is a high risk of permanent damage to the skin if you receive hair removal services on this product. It is recommended to wait at least 6 months after discontinuation of Accutane before receiving a sugaring treatment. There are many Accutane perscriptions such as: Adapalene, Alustra, Avage etc. We will not provide a sugaring treatment on anyone taking these medications.
